FILM-MAKING INDUSTRY IN AFRICA (NIGERIA) BEGAN BETWEEN THE 1900'S TO THE 1930'S, WHEN THE BRITISH AND AFRICANS BROUGHT FILM-MAKING EQUIPTMENT TO FILM THE NIGERIAN KINGS, BENIN ROYAL KINGDOM.

Commercial film-making in Nigeria took root in the 1930's and CONTINUES TODAY, MAKING NIGERIA THE THIRD LARGEST FILM-MAKING NATION ON EARTH.
